Mark Johnson is a passionate speaker, certified Dream Coach and Dream Coach Group Leader, Toastmaster, and Rotarian. Mark’s presentations impact, encourage, and empower.
Mark is a disabled veteran having served tours around the world. He has a community of self-mentality and actively works with the YMCA, Junior Achievement, Upward Bound, and the Boys and Girls Club of Lake and Sumter County.
Mark has served as a Unit Manager for the largest federal prison within the Department of Justice for nearly eighteen (18) years. He is responsible for approximately 600 maximum and high-security level inmates at one of five institutions at the federal complex. Many of the inmates that he is responsible for are serving sentences ranging from two years to life. He has also supervised the minimum security level facility for women. The insightful inmate progams, which Mark has developed, have inspired inmates to look beyond yesterday’s troubles and to focus on the importance of living a life of purpose today.
Mark has mentored in the The Micah Project of First Baptist Church in Leesburg, Florida, and helped to establish Children’s Home Society Model Program. He is on the board of directors of The Daisy House and the Neighborhood Accountability Board, which are both community diversion programs for at-risk youth. He is a facilitator for the Boys and Girls Club “Passport to Manhood”. He has served as Board of Director for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Apopka. He is the CEO and founder of “Life To The Brim”, a company established with the intention of helping others to “Aspire to Inspire before You Expire”, thereby exhibiting behaviors that exemplify the courage to live fully!
